Eighty years ago, six Fairey Swordfish torpedo bombers made their voyage to intercept three German capital ships, while this ‘Channel Dash’ mission was doomed to failure, their heroic legacy lived on. Airfix’s has faithfully recreated one of the six’s Fairey Swordfish Mk.I to commemorate all their efforts during WWII.
