Tufstrand synthetic control line cable is 20% stronger than steel cable but 1/3 the weight. This is 60′ long and comes 2 pr./pkg. Each package contains (2), 60 feet cables Tuftsrand is made of strong, durable Aramid (DuPont registered trade name for Kevlar blend). Tufstrand is lightweight and flexible. It wont tangle, kink or knot like stranded steel wire, so it is less likely to break in flight. It won’t conduct electricity, so risk of an accident from a chance contact with power lines is greatly reduced. Tufstrand’s line’s abrasion resistant fibers are treated with a special anti- fray coating that reduces drag.
